Branch registration (setting up a Branch in Japan) expenses and fee

Here is a standared costs and fee for a branch registration. If a Counsuiuler General in Japan of your home country is not handle for AFFIDAVIT, you have to obtain a certain certificate in your home country. An extra fee will be charged in such a case.

(B) After registration (Manddatory)
5. Report to the Bank of Japan (Foregin exchange control law purpose)

From 23 June 2009, this report is not required, however some kind of business is still required for the advance report. 		JPY 42,000

 Submit to appropriate ministers via the Bank of Japan within 15 days of setting up a place of business if advance report is required depending on your business.

In connection with 5.6.7. and 8 above, you can execute these procedures by yourself. This is the case expenses for 7) will be reduced too. You can prepare (1) 2) if you like. In this situation total fee estimation for the branch registration will be around Yen 300,000 (Cost saving plan).		 Expenses: JPY 215,000

(NOTICE) With consultation for set up a Japan Branch of a foreign company, we will charge fee by a time charge basis (JPY 37,800 per hour). The advanced cosultaion fee will be deduced if you ask us an incorporation procedure within one month from the meeting.

1. Preparation of an 'AFFIDAVIT' Prepare the affidavit.
(check with a Legal Affairs Bureau before declaration)		 Answer the 'Questionnaire'
2. Declaration of the affidavit in the presence of a consular officer   Representative: swear affidavit at home country's embassy in Japan.
3. Application for registration of a branch office    
4. Submission of a report of Branch Establishment Submit it to Bank of Japan within 15 days.
